Outdoor fireplaces

We design these structures in proportion to the house and the patio beneath them, then plant around them so they settle into the garden.

Stone fountains and water features
The sound of moving water softens road noise and makes a patio feel calm. We’ve built stone water fountain areas ranging from a bubbling urn set in a patio to raised stone spillways that pour into a swimming pool. Each one is designed with the surrounding stone and planting so it looks like a natural part of the space.

Rock creek beds and natural rock beds
A custom rock creek bed brings the look of a streambed into the landscape, winding through shade plantings, under a footbridge or along a property edge. Natural rock beds use boulders and river rock with ferns, hydrangeas and other plants to create low-care areas where lawn struggles, such as under large trees.
On sloped or wooded lots, a well-placed creek bed can also give storm runoff a defined, attractive path instead of a muddy one. We look at how water moves across the property before deciding where one belongs, and where a creek bed alone isn’t enough, our drainage solutions, including French drains, can handle the rest.
